Overview

This individual will provide support to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO).

ClearanceACTIVE Secret Clearance is required. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is highly desired. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements- DoD 8140 IAT Level III or IAM Level III certification
- In-depth understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity policies
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations
- Provide Information Systems Security Engineer/Officer in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authorization and other ISSE/ISSO responsibilities in accordance with applicable NSA, DoD, and DoN policies
- Perform annual security reviews
- Manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) entries and ensure vulnerabilities are properly tracked, mitigated, and resolved
- Plan and perform cybersecurity testing to assess security controls and record security control compliance status as required
- Conduct vulnerability and compliance management and scanning in support of continuous monitoring efforts
Xacta experience is highly desirable
EducationBachelor's Degree in technical/cybersecurity field desired
CompensationThe projected annual compensation range for this position is $90,000-$140,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that Sim Ventions offers.
