The PPM Brand Champion is responsible for building, onboarding, and managing strategic partnerships with technology manufacturers and software publishers. This role owns the full partner lifecycle, from application and approval through to ongoing relationship management, with a strong focus on maximizing commercial value, including the planning, application, and execution of vendor-funded marketing initiatives (MDF / co-marketing funds).
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Development & Onboarding
Identify and evaluate manufacturers and publishers aligned with Fortray's MSP and VAR strategy
Own end-to-end partner onboarding:
Partner applications and approvals
Commercial, technical, and compliance requirements
Tier/status attainment and progression
Coordinate internal inputs (sales, finance, technical) required for partner approvals
Vendor Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors and publishers
Build strong working relationships with vendor channel and partner marketing teams
Manage partner status, renewals, certifications, and compliance obligations
Serve as the internal escalation point for vendor-related issues
Marketing Development Funds (MDF) & Co-Marketing
Own vendor-funded marketing programs, including:
MDF / co-marketing fund applications
Campaign planning and approvals
Budget tracking and utilisation
Post-campaign reporting and claims
Work with sales and marketing teams to:
Identify campaigns aligned with vendor priorities
Ensure MDF is used effectively to drive pipeline and revenue
Maintain a forward-looking MDF plan per vendor to avoid unused funds
Ensure compliance with vendor MDF guidelines and audit requirements
Commercial Enablement & Sales Support:
Support sales teams with:
Deal registrations and special pricing requests
Vendor incentives, rebates, and promotions
Ensure sales has clear visibility into:
Approved vendors and partner tiers
Available incentives and marketing programs
Act as a bridge between vendors and internal teams to accelerate deals
Internal Governance & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of:
Partner agreements and tiers
MDF allocations, usage, and outcomes
Key vendor contacts and escalation paths
