FURY IW/CRY Mission Tech (Skill Bridge Intern)
This is an unpaid internship through the DoD Skill Bridge Program for transitioning active-duty US military personnel. The intern will actively train on meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior company leadership. The intern will train as an Information Warfare (IW) and Cryptologic Warfare (CRY) Mission Technician with HII-Mission Technologies, reporting to HII Supervisor Kevin Foster, Program Manager, with the goal of learning FURY Systems Operations and Maintenance principles, technologies, and core device functions, as well as the roles and responsibilities of working in a federated FURY system environment.
The intern will be assigned special projects as needed. Training will take place in Virginia Beach, VA. At the end of three months, the intern will be able to operate both fixed site and Mobile FURY systems, conduct maintenance, and coordinate and execute FURY EMW/IW training missions to Fleet consumers. The intern will develop an understanding of FURY technical documentation and project management.
Skillbridge Intern will possess at minimum an Active Secret Security Clearance. Skillbridge Intern will be available during core hours for critical meetings and training.
