CTG is seeking an experienced SAP S/4
HANA ABAP Technical Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for SAP S/4
HANA implementation and migration initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP ABAP development experience, strong SAP HANA expertise, current S/4
HANA and EWM hands-on experience, and a proven ability to lead technical teams through complex enterprise SAP transformations.
Location: Virginia Beach, VA Duration: 10 months
Key Responsibilities:- Lead SAP ABAP technical development and architecture activities for SAP S/4
HANA migration and implementation projects. - Provide hands-on leadership for SAP HANA and Suite on HANA migrations, including Hanatization and custom code remediation.
- Analyze and optimize custom developments using SAP S/4
HANA migration tools and code remediation strategies. - Define code pushdown strategies and recommend SAP HANA optimization approaches.
- Lead technical teams and serve as a trusted advisor for S/4
HANA architecture, development, and migration decisions. - Support SAP Fiori configuration and integration based on business requirements.
- Develop and optimize SAP solutions using Advanced Open SQL, AMDP, Native SQL, and HANA SQLScript.
- Utilize SAP HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and HANA modeling tools for development and performance optimization.
- Identify opportunities for application modernization and performance improvements within SAP landscapes.
- Strong SAP ABAP Technical Lead experience with leadership responsibilities as a Team Lead, Manager, or above.
- Current hands-on SAP S/4
HANA experience required. - Current hands-on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) experience required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Extensive experience with SAP HANA architecture, Suite on HANA migrations, and S/4
HANA implementations. - Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori configuration and S/4
HANA application architecture. - Experience with HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools, HANA Administration Console, HANA development, and HANA modeling.
- Expertise in SAP HANA code optimization techniques, including code pushdown, AMDP, Native SQL, and SQLScript.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Equivalent SAP technical experience and certifications will be considered.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
