Intermodal Logistics Coordinator

• Provide quotes and routes for inland container movements
• Secure rates and facilitate inland container movement via rail, truck, and barge
• Set up invoices in SAP
• Transmit rail bills
• Provide accurate quotes/rates for intermodal freight, bids, and spot business
• Support commercial efforts to maximize profitability through cost-effective and efficient routing
• Recommend alternate routing when preferred
• Negotiate rates with truckers for spot business and new routes
• Update ZIMAPS quarterly and as needed for missing costs
• Maintain routing and route preference order in IQ Ship
• Create routes when auto-routing is missing, expired, or illogical
• Update missing costs in routes
• Manage day-to-day changes to specific vendors/routing
• Execute and manage rail billings and resolve problems

• High School Degree required
• Bachelor's degree is a plus
• 3 years' experience preferred in various LOG operating positions
• Logistics / Operation experience in Container Shipping industry is a plus

Demonstrates expertise in managing inland container movements, including providing accurate quotes, negotiating rates, and executing rail billings. Proficient in utilizing SAP and IQ Ship for efficient logistics operations within the container shipping industry.
