Job Requirements
Education

Required

• High school diploma or GED and

• Completion of all trade-required HRSD apprenticeship courses or equivalent as determined by HRSD's Apprenticeship Committee.

Desired

• Additional technical training in management, leadership, or mechanical or utility maintenance.

Experience

Required

• Four years of maintenance experience related to interceptor systems, including experience in the operation and repair of large sewage interceptor systems or collection systems.

• Supervisory experience in leading, coaching, and managing teams or crews in a related field.

Desired

• Experience using computer systems for work scheduling and reporting.

• Experience with planning and coordinating large-scale repair or maintenance projects.

Licenses and Certifications Requirements

• Valid driver's license from state of residence.

• Class A Commercial Driver's License with H (Hazardous Materials) and N (Tank Vehicle) endorsements (to be obtained within 12 months of appointment).
