Scheduler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

"Overview

We are looking for an experienced Scheduler that will be responsible for building and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and collaborating with the production team for inventory control and Manufacturing Order (MO) generation/closeout. This position will be supporting the Unmanned Systems Division.

• Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
• Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
• Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

• US Citizenship.
• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• Mastery of MS Project required.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 desired.
• Proficiency with MS Excel required.
• Experience preparing, updating, and evaluating schedules and schedule metrics required.
• Must be able to work independently and in team/group settings.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
• Deltek/Costpoint (MRP) experience preferred but not required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Virginia Beach,VA.
