Welder - two shifts

Our Virginia Beach based client is hiring Welders to join their team. Two shifts are offered, both day and night, and overtime is available. You will use your hands‑on welding skills to fabricate metal products and structures.

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components.
• Prep, clean, and finish welds to meet quality standards.
• Read blueprints and layouts to fabricate or repair parts accurately.
• Set up and operate tools like grinders, sanders, and wire wheels for finishing and adjustments.
• Weld structural parts such as I‑beams, frames, and fuel tanks in several positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Inspect welds and materials to ensure they meet specifications; rework when necessary.
• Maintain welding equipment and work safely at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• MIG certification preferred; TIG certification or technical welding training is a plus but not required.
• Previous welding or fabrication experience is valued.
• Comfort using basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
• A solid understanding of shop math.

• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Dependable and takes pride in quality work.
• Follows safety guidelines and company standards.
