* The Drill Operator will perform tasks involving operating a drilling machine at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed; operates equipment in compliance with company operating safety, policies, and procedures

** RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Operates a Drilling Machine to complete tasks such as drilling rock, shale, and/or other materials; stops and starts portable air compres sor

+ Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials

+ May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; completes paperwork and other documentation as required

+ May be some vibration associated with equipment operation; jolts and vibrations may result from operating equipment; loud noise when operating equipment

+ May perform other related duties as required

** QUALIFICATIONS*
* + 3-5 years of operating experience preferred

+ Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions

+ Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

+ Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn

+ Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods

+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

** RESPONSABILIDADES*
* Las responsabilidades incluyen pero no se limitan a:

+ Operar una máquina de perforación para completar tareas como perforar roca, esquisto y/u otros materiales; encender y apagar compresores de aire portátiles

+ Tener conocimiento de los procedimientos operativos relacionados con la carga y descarga de materiales

+ Puede lubricar, engrasar, dar servicio y realizar ajustes normales de mantenimiento al equipo; realizar inspecciones diarias de seguridad y mantenimiento; completar la documentación y el papeleo requerido

+ Puede haber vibración asociada con la operación del equipo; pueden producirse sacudidas y vibraciones; ruido fuerte durante la operación del equipo

+ Puede realizar otras tareas relacionadas según se requiera

** CALIFICACIONES*
* + Se prefieren 3 a 5 años de experiencia operando equipo

+ Capacidad para trepar y mantener el equilibrio en andamios o escaleras
