Days:
Sunday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 12 am (2nd Shift). Additional hours and overtime as needed.

• Perform various functions in support of warehouse operations, including shipping, loading, and delivery of flooring products.
• Oversee the functions of warehouse workers on an assigned shift to ensure accuracy, completeness, and on‑time shipping.
• Direct employees on correct loading processes for delivery trucks.
• Train new employees on equipment operation, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and other warehouse responsibilities.
• Certify employees on forklift operation.
• Operate lift trucks or other machinery used in preparing and loading flooring products for shipment.
• Informally monitor employee performance and provide feedback to management.
• Provide backup in the absence of the supervisor.
• Demonstrate expected safe work habits to others – lead by example.
• Assist in leading safety meetings and implementing safety initiatives.
• Attend any job‑related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of DOT requirements.
• Knowledge and demonstrated commitment to Mohawk safety standards.
• Forklift certified.
• At least 18 months of experience in the functions being assigned to lead.
• Demonstrated positive work habits, dependability, and good attendance.
• Physical requirements:
  
  able to sit, stand, reach, bend, twist without restrictions; stand for extended periods; lift 80 lb several times a shift; vision correctable to 20/40; climb on and off lift trucks; load and unload pad materials without restriction.
• Ability to read and write in English; basic mathematics and weight measures.
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational skills, and problem‑solving capabilities; detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions and interpret department operating standards.
