The Process Technician is responsible for safe and efficient operation of the assigned production process, including machine setups, quality inspections, documentation, organization, and housekeeping around the equipment. Must be willing to work in other areas of the plant when needed to support operations.
Responsibilities include:
setting and monitoring machine operation controls; monitoring equipment instrumentation; maintaining process conditions within control; preparing paperwork and entering data into computer systems; performing quality inspections; participating in product quality and machine efficiency improvements; ensuring cleanliness of the work area and machines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb. repeatedly
- Push/Pull up to 1,500 lb. using a wheeled cart
- Work 12.25‑hour rotating day/night shift in a tobacco- and smoke-free environment
- Required to work mandatory overtime
- Must be able to work in hot temperatures at times
- Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Some computer skills required
- Forklift operating experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
12.25‑hour rotating shift, days or nights, with days off scheduled in a 3‑week cycle (Week 1, Week 2, Week 3).
Salary$22.26 per hour; candidates with strong production experience may start at $26.45 per hour.
