Senior Plant Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Director to lead and oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance aligned with organizational objectives. This leadership role will be responsible for driving operational excellence across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive manufacturing leadership experience, a strong track record in operational performance improvement, and the ability to lead large cross-functional teams in complex plant environments.

• Lead and oversee all plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain activities.
• Ensure efficient and effective execution of manufacturing processes while meeting operational and business objectives.
• Drive productivity, quality, delivery, and cost performance across the facility.

• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve plant performance.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational accountability and results.
• Implement best practices and process improvements across manufacturing operations.

• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee quality management programs to ensure products meet customer and regulatory standards.
• Drive compliance with company policies, industry standards, and operational procedures.

• Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams across manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions.
• Build high-performing teams through coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic planning, capacity expansion, capital investment, and operational growth initiatives.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term operational planning.
• Provide regular reporting and insights on plant performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations, including senior leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading large-scale manufacturing facilities and cross-functional operational teams.
• Strong background in operational excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP ERP or similar enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to drive productivity, quality, cost, and delivery improvements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence credentials.
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Engineering, Operations Management, or related degree preferred.
