Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC grinding and machining equipment according to work instructions and production requirements.
- Inspect machined parts throughout the manufacturing process using precision measuring instruments to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Make minor program edits, machine offsets, and adjustments to maintain product quality and process consistency.
- Set up and utilize gauge heads and other inspection equipment for high‑tolerance applications.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure precision, repeatability, and efficient production.
- Dress grinding wheels and replace diamonds as required.
- Deburr finished components and prepare parts for the next stage of production.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic machine upkeep.
- Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting up CNC machines and making minor program adjustments.
- Proficient in using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators.
- Experience using pneumatic and manual hand tools.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
- Experience working with tight tolerances and precision machining preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and workplace safety.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Monday–Friday | 7:00PM – 3:30AM
Training ScheduleMonday–Friday | 7:00AM – 3:30PM for approximately 90 days
Compensation$22.00–$25.00/hour + 7.5% shift differential upon transition to 2nd shift
