Integration and Test Engineer

We have an outstanding Contract position for an Integration and Test Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Virginia Beach, VA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $85.00

* ** Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.*
* Job Responsibilities:

+  Writing and executing test plans.

+  Install and configure software components.

+  Coordinate with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues.

+  Document, track, and report defects.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

+  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

+  10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably  within  a defense or aerospace environment.

+  Windows and Linux Cross-Platform test execution.

+  Testing microservice architectures.

+  Database validation using PostgreSQL and basic  knowledge of SQL .

+  Frontend testing of a Web UI.

Desired

Qualifications:

+  CompTIA Security+ certification.

+  

Experience with US Navy training systems and processes.

+  Knowledge of Navy and DOD modeling and simulation tools such as Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), JLVC Analysis Workstation (JAWS), and Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS).

+  VMWare virtualized environment experience.

+  

Experience with Agile workflows using Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
