Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling.
  
 Busch Vacuum Solutions has an immediate direct hire opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist at our U.S. headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
  
 This is a full-time, fully onsite position working Monday through Friday.
  
 The Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the integrity of inventory transactions across warehouse operations. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, maintaining item master data, processing inventory transactions, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and partnering with internal teams to support inventory accuracy and efficient order fulfillment.
  
 Targeted Compensation:
The targeted compensation for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities

 Assist, as necessary, with training, floor coverage, service warehousing, and remote facility warehousing
 Execute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies
 Oversee stock item master data, ensuring accuracy in descriptions and stock numbers
 Locate miscategorized items to assist with order processing accuracy
 Coordinate with Customer Service to resolve order issues
 Generate and process cycle counts; research discrepancies and initiate recounts as needed
 Complete required departmental paperwork
 Support 5S and Lean initiatives to improve workflow and eliminate waste
 Investigate errors and identify root causes
 Maintain effective communication and coordination between departments

Required Experience

 Minimum of 2 years of relevant inventory control experience:

 High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED):
Required
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite:
Required
 Experience using computer-based inventory management systems:

Job Requirements

 Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check

 Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis

 Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE
 Willingness to travel domestically for training

Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Valid Drivers’ License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards

Physical Requirements

 Constant standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 25lbs
 Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 25lbs
 Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching outward and/or above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 100lbs
 All applicants must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
