Position Summary:
The Life Support Maintenance Manager Level III / Underwater Combat Dive Technologies System Manager Level III serves as a Key Personnel position supporting Naval Special Warfare Group Two (NSWG-2) Logistics Support Unit Two (LOGSU-2) Dive Department operations. This position is responsible for the maintenance, operational readiness, inventory accountability, training, and lifecycle management of combat diving systems, underwater propulsion systems, underwater navigation systems, communications equipment, remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), Diving Life Support Systems (DLSS), and associated support equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on combat diving systems, underwater propulsion systems, underwater navigation systems, communications equipment, ROVs, and associated support equipment.
- Develop and write comprehensive curricula and lesson plans for end-user training involving combat diving propulsion, navigation, communications systems, SHIELD SCBA equipment, and remotely operated vehicles.
- Deliver technical training and certification programs to Naval Special Warfare personnel and maintain associated training records.
- Manage government-approved programs supporting NSWG-2 and WARCOM underwater combat dive technologies.
- Provide technical advice and subject matter expertise to engineers, program managers, maintainers, and command leadership regarding system operations, maintenance, testing, evaluation, and modernization efforts.
- Maintain accurate inventories and accountability records for combat diving systems, underwater technologies, ROVs, propulsion systems, navigation systems, communications equipment, and associated support equipment.
- Verify accountability of equipment issued to NSW personnel and supported commands.
- Conduct inspections, inventories, maintenance assessments, and accountability reviews.
- Generate maintenance reports, deficiency reports, inventory reports, technical assessments, and recommendations.
- Support technology evaluations and provide recommendations on system upgrades, modifications, and future capability development.
- Attend meetings, conferences, technology demonstrations, operational events, and training activities supporting combat dive technologies.
- Gather, analyze, and report information related to emerging underwater technologies and operational capabilities.
- Maintain maintenance records, testing documentation, inventory records, and technical data associated with assigned systems.
- Ensure compliance with Navy, Naval Special Warfare, NAVSEA, NOSSA, maintenance management, inventory accountability, and safety requirements.
- Maintain familiarity with transportation, storage, safety, and maintenance requirements associated with lithium battery technologies and associated systems.

Physical Ability to:
- Perform physically demanding maintenance, inspection, and inventory management activities involving dive systems and support equipment.
- Lift, carry, transport, inspect, and maintain diving equipment, propulsion systems, communications equipment, batteries, tools, and support materials.
- Walk, stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in warehouses, maintenance facilities, piers, vessels, and operational maritime environments.
- Travel and conduct training, maintenance, inspections, inventories, and operational support activities at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Work safely around lithium battery systems, oxygen systems, diving equipment, compressed gas systems, and specialized underwater technologies.
