Material Handler
Virginia Beach, VA People Share is seeking dependable, hardworking Material Handlers for a growing industrial manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and working in a team-oriented environment.
ScheduleMonday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM All new hires must be available to complete training on this shift.
After training, employees may be assigned to: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays or evening shifts may be required for special projects.
What You'll Do- Prepare and mask surfaces before coating
- Use hand and power tools, including:
Sanders, Drills, Impact wrenches - Hang parts for blasting, painting, and powder coating
- Move products between production areas
- Package finished products for shipment or pickup
- Store materials safely and securely
- Read and follow work instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety and quality standards
- Assist with other production-related tasks as needed
Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to stand, bend, lift, twist, and kneel throughout the shift Strong attention to detail Team-focused attitude Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Required PPEBefore your start date, you must provide:
- Steel-toe boots
