A senior pastor is the primary spiritual leader of a church, responsible for preaching sermons, providing pastoral care to congregation members, overseeing church operations, teaching biblical doctrine, and leading the church in its vision and mission, essentially acting as the public face of the congregation and guiding its spiritual growth.
QUALIFICATIONSDeep understanding of scripture and the ability to interpret and apply it to contemporary life.
Effective verbal & written communication, conflict resolution and team building skills as well as the ability to relate to, motivate and inspire others.

Active listening, empathy, and ability to provide compassionate spiritual guidance.
Skills:
Oversee the administration and management of church operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and personnel management in the church office.
Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree and have completed a seminary program through an institution that has been accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools.
Qualifications:
Computer savvy, lifelong learner, self‑starting attitude that identifies and implements what needs to be done, high energy, gifted communicator – both written and oral, humble and teachable spirit, open to feedback & evaluation, team building and conflict resolution skills. Prefer at least 5 years of a proven track record of ministry experience and success.
Develop and deliver engaging, biblically based weekly sermons during worship services, as well as on special occasions and events.
Providing spiritual guidance and support to church members through individual meetings, visitation, and crisis intervention.
Setting the church’s vision and direction, overseeing staff and ministry teams, and making key decisions regarding church operations alongside the Board of Directors.
Leading Bible studies, teaching classes, and facilitating spiritual growth within the congregation.
Officiating at baptisms, communion, weddings, and funerals.
Engaging with the local community through mission initiatives, social programs, and special outreach events.
Overseeing finances, budgeting, facilities management, and staff development. Serves as President/Chairman of the Board. Leads Board/Congregational Meetings.
Reports to – Board of Directors.
