Son Rise @ Pembroke Manor Christian Church has the opportunity for a part-time Youth Director. The church is located in Virginia Beach near Town Center and we offer services on both Saturday evening and on Sunday morning.
The general duties of the Youth Ministry Director include:
- Create a well-balanced program (spiritually, mentally & socially) for the youth group.
- Build & maintain relationships with adult volunteers & both churched / unchurched youth to ultimately expand the youth program.
- Responsible for preparing weekly lessons & teaching the youth bible study.
- Responsible for planning special activities throughout the year for the youth (parties, movie nights, retreats, etc.).
- Must be willing to attend relevant training seminars & conferences for continual job performance improvement.
- Must attend weekly worrship services & staff meeting.
This is a part time position with the potential to grow into full time.
