Full-Time;
Day and Night Shift available (three 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends).

The Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads is a nonprofit organization that provides compassionate respite and end-of-life care for those on hospice services in a peaceful and homelike environment. As a Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to patients during their end-of-life journey.

What You'll Do In This Role

* Assist patients with daily activities, mobility, and personal care.

* Monitor and record vital signs as part of the care plan.

* Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.

* Ensure a clean and safe environment in compliance with infection control protocols.

* Assist with meal preparation and serving, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

* Communicate patient needs and changes to the healthcare team.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility (up to 100 lbs with assistance)

The Experience You'll Bring

Required

* Current CNA license in the State of Virginia (unencumbered)

* CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)

* Willingness to complete a food sanitation course after hire

* Flu-Vaccinated

Preferred

* Hands
-on clinical experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

* Compensation Range: $18.17- $20.00/hour (based on relevant experience)
