Registered Nurse; RN - MedSurg​/IMC ED Holds

Overview

Sentara Virginia Beach GH is searching for an experienced Medical/Surgical or IMC RN to join the Resource Pool for their ED Holds in the Emergency Department. Up to $15,000 sign‑on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Full Time – Nights 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Virginia Beach, VA)

The Registered Nursing (RN) works collaboratively with the ED team caring for patients admitted to a med/surg level of care awaiting a room. This RN is part of the Resource Pool and will float to IMC/Med Surg units when needed.

41‑bed Level III Trauma ED with 6 dedicated psychiatric screening beds. Stroke certified. Receives STEMI and psychiatric patients. About 150 patients per day with a dedicated radiology suite in the ED.

• ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.

• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.

• RN experienced in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of 18 months RN experience in an IMCU or medical‑surgical unit.
