Travel RN PCU job at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. The Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Surgery Unit 2 (3EA) provides care for patients with trauma, sepsis, stroke, cardiac, hematology/oncology, and medical-surgical diagnoses. You must have a minimum of 18 months of progressive care unit RN experience within the last 3 years. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5. Required skills include experience with BIPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, Plum
360 IV pumps, tele interpretation, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

• Provide nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit with conditions including trauma, sepsis, stroke, cardiac, hematology/oncology, and medical-surgical diagnoses.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 and float to Tele/MS as needed.
• Utilize BIPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, Plum
  360 IV pumps, and tele interpretation as part of patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies and participate in care coordination for postoperative and medically complex patients.
