The Master Center for Addiction Medicine delivers comprehensive, evidence‑based, individualized outpatient addiction treatment.
PositionFull‑Time Addiction Medicine Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants needed for the VA Beach area. Prior experience in substance addiction treatment or psychiatry is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians to monitor and provide individualized medication management.
- Deliver compassionate, patient‑centric care with dignity, respect, and kindness.
- Current, in‑good‑standing NP or PA license.
- Preferred experience in addiction medicine; experience not mandatory.
- Ability to obtain a buprenorphine waiver through SAMHSA. Candidates with an existing X waiver or Addiction DATA waiver will be strongly considered.
Master Center will support necessary licensing, including SAMHSA buprenorphine waiver. A comprehensive addiction medicine provider education and training program begins on the day of hire.
