Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator (UC) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Full-time, night shift (36 hours per week).

The ICU is a 24-bed general ICU that also services trauma, neurological, CRRT, and cardiac patients. The RN will receive onboarding classes such as EVD, rapid infusion, pacemaker, Swan-Ganz, and balloon pump/Impella.

• Demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area.
• Provide clinical leadership for delivery of nursing care in the department.
• Under the direction of the department manager, lead safety and quality initiatives, simplify workflow, and contribute to staff development.
• Increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent customer service.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent registered nursing diploma.
• Licensure:
  Registered Nursing licensure.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 18 months of RN experience in a related specialty.
