We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant who is committed to providing high‑quality, compassionate care to residents in a long‑term care/skilled nursing environment. The role provides direct, hands‑on care and support to residents in a long‑term care/skilled nursing facility within the Veterans Care Center, assisting residents with activities of daily living, promoting comfort and safety, and supporting the nursing team by observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions.

- Assist residents with daily personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Take and accurately record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Observe residents and promptly report any changes in condition to the nurse.
- Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transferring residents using proper body mechanics and approved techniques.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
- Follow individualized care plans and document care activities clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, turning, and assisting residents with mobility.
- Basic knowledge of personal care practices, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of long‑term care practices, resident rights, and basic nursing procedures.
- Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately.
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition promptly and clearly.
- Ability to document care activities accurately and in compliance with facility standards.
