Part‑time Registered Nurse (Registered Nurse I)

J&C VCC – Dept of Veterans Services

7:00 am‑3:00 pm, 3:00 pm‑11:00 pm, 11:00 pm‑7:00 am, 2 days a week and every other weekend (holidays as needed).

2nd Shift (3 pm‑11 pm): $3.00 per hour difference. 3rd Shift (11 pm‑7 am): $2.00 per hour difference. Weekends: additional $1.00 plus shift differential.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of Unit Managers and Director of Nursing within the scope of RN practice.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with facility policy.
• Participate in admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Work in partnership with nursing Admins team, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Perform resident assessments and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising nurse or provider.
• Document all care, assessments, treatments, and observations in accordance with regulatory and facility standards in the Point Click Care system.
• Assist with care planning and ensure care is delivered according to individualized plans.
• Provide wound care, and other nursing procedures as needed.
• Maintain infection control standards and promote a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff while showing patience and empathy.
• Support and guide LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality resident care and adherence to policies.

Previous nursing home, long‑term care, or geriatric experience preferred but not required.
