This is a locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Cardiology at a local Salem facility. The position requires 24/7 coverage with call after hours, coverage of CT call, rounding on inpatients, clinic services, and first assist in cardiac vascular operating room. The role includes patient evaluation, documentation, and surgical assistance.

• Provide 24/7 coverage for Cardiology surgical specialties.
• Call coverage: 07:00–09:30 and after 4:30 until 07:00 next morning.
• Rounding on inpatients, either before, after, or with the surgeon.
• Manage clinic patients – scheduled one day per week and additional evaluations as needed.
• Serve as first assist with EVH and other surgical procedures.
• Document patient care in EMR (eCW).
• Call after hours for CT covering, with low percentage of CT after‑hours calls.

• Bachelor’s degree and certification as Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner.
• Board Certified in Cardiology.
• Valid BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with surgical assisting in a Cardiac or Vascular Orthopedic setting.
• Valid VA license.

• Pay: $0‑110/Hr.
