- 12x 13-hr shifts per month -- typically 3 shifts per week
- 11 - 18 patients per day in the CVICU
- CVICU setting -- onsite, full-time position
- ECMO specialists on unit -- no ECMO management required
- Cases include LVAD and open valve repair
- No advanced procedures required
- ACNP or PA required -- FNPs not eligible for this role
