Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel)

Warrenton, VA | Acute Care

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Week Assignment | Expected 36 hours/week

• Provide emergency nursing care across the full patient age spectrum in a 24-hour Emergency Department setting
• Perform core ER clinical tasks including phlebotomy, IV placement, EKG, splinting, wound care, and patient transport
• Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float on a rare basis to units appropriate to skill level or as an additional set of hands
• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on creating a positive experience for patients and families while meeting operational metrics

• Active RN license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Self-motivated and self-sufficient with the ability to independently perform all ER clinical tasks
• Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills

• 2+ years of experience in a comparable Emergency Department environment
• Demonstrated focus on patient-centered care and positive patient/family experience
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar EHR platforms

• Opportunity to work in a full-service acute care hospital offering a broad range of specialty services including surgical, cardiac, and intensive care
