Schedule: Full‑Time, Saturday‑Monday (5:00 AM‑5:45 PM)
Clinical Status: Clinical
Important:
You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift, and wear personal protective equipment (surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles, and caps).
As a Processing Technician, you will perform all aspects of tissue processing, preservation, and storage in an FDA‑regulated environment. You will work in a team under aseptic conditions, conduct quality assessments, and document all procedures. Your work supports turning donor gifts into lifesaving allografts for patients worldwide.
What You’ll Do- Review work orders or processing instructions before initiating production; collaborate with supervisors to adjust plans.
- Perform all tissue processing steps—debridement, dissection, cutting, cleaning and disinfection, sizing, assessment—according to procedures and protocols; assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Document all processes and functions in compliance with protocols.
- Package and preserve tissue products, confirming sizing, quality, and using appropriate materials and cryopreservation methods.
- Carry out post‑processing decontamination of equipment and the processing room.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No prior work experience required.
- Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One year of tissue processing experience preferred.
- Perform tasks thoroughly and carefully; verify accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate verbally and in writing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and related computer software and databases.
- Learn new skills, grafts, and adapt to developing product lines.
- Prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Technical skills (preferred); general knowledge of anatomy; use of surgical instrumentation and equipment.

Salary range: $20.00 per hour (flat rate for entry‑level). Final compensation may be higher based on qualifications and relevant experience.
