Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Cashier
Position Summary
Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam’s Club products and services, guides and supports members regarding self‑service technology, processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for various membership and payment types, and follows company safety standards, procedures and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
Safety, Security and OperationsFollows proper procedures for handling merchandise, corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management, maintains entrance and exit areas, acknowledges members and verifies membership cards, identifies member needs, assists members with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, resolves issues, promotes products and services, zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, assists members with transporting items, maintains a safe shopping environment, reviews member receipts, secures and safeguards Sam’s Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintains paperwork, logs and other required documentation, executes emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
Trainingand Continuous Improvement
Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new program rollout training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.

Live Better U is a company‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short‑form certificates. Tuition, books and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (for example, a cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
- Additional retail experience or related training.
- Prior exposure to self‑service technology.
