The person in this role will be required to work directly with Goodwill staff to assist in store appearance and customer satisfaction in retail stores by providing assistance to department managers and associates through the execution of the duties below.

The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

• Must be able to follow written or verbal directions.
• Experience representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and sex offender check.
• No computer skills are required.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Associates are required to follow Goodwill's safety rules and regulations, as outlined in Goodwill's policies.

This associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill policy 11.01 Confidentiality of Data related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.

The associate is required to lift 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Walking or standing to a significant degree involves sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling.

The associate works in a moderate work environment with occasional exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
