The Experienced Fashion Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Virginia Beach, VA. In this role, the associate greets customers, assesses their wardrobe needs, and recommends outfits and accessories that align with their style preferences. Responsibilities include maintaining visual merchandising standards, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor and fitting rooms are clean and inviting. The associate processes sales transactions, handles returns and exchanges, and supports inventory tasks such as restocking and tagging merchandise.

This role also involves building long-term client relationships, maintaining client records, and proactively reaching out about new arrivals, events, and promotions.

• Proven experience in retail fashion sales, with a strong understanding of apparel, styling, and current trends
• Ability to deliver personalized customer service, including active listening, needs assessment, and relationship building
• Skills in point-of-sale (POS) systems, basic cash handling, and accuracy in completing transactions
• Strength in visual merchandising, product presentation, and maintaining an organized sales floor
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused demeanor
• Reliability in working a full-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak shopping periods as needed
• Comfort standing for extended periods, moving merchandise, and working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Previous experience serving a high-service or boutique clientele is preferred; experience in apparel & fashion is strongly beneficial
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in fashion, retail, or merchandising is a plus
