Food Service Supervisor - Millers

Global Partners LP is looking for a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead. Our Fresh Food’s Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department and its personnel to achieve merchandising, sales and guest service goals established for the department.

• Direct department personnel, meet department goals, communicate with store management and department supervisors.
• Onboard and coach new team members.
• Schedule all team members.
• Provide product info, selling suggestions, active sampling, and thanking guests.
• Takes guest orders and ensures timely, satisfactory completion.
• Ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Orders products and supplies to maintain stock levels and merchandising standards.
• Oversees preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/food service items.
• Display items following merchandising guidelines.
• Follow product recipes without deviation.
• Rotate items for sale, ensuring quality, safety, and shrink control.
• Receive merchandise, audit invoices, break down orders, position cases.
• Periodically count inventory.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Process cash register transactions, give change, process refunds.
• Use scale printer machines for accurate weights and pricing.
• Monitor product pricing, signage, placement, shelf tags, and signage.
• Maintain clean, neat sales counters, prep areas, shelving, and walk‑in coolers/freezers.
• Ensure personnel use proper safety equipment and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work with deli ingredients: meats, vegetables, spices, sauces etc.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18.
• Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, evening shifts and assist other locations as needed.
• At least 2 years of prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably managerial.
• Reliable transportation and active driver’s license.

  Serv Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk‑in coolers and freezers.
• Stand for long periods, bend, twist below waist, lift, maneuver merchandise, reach above shoulder.
• Dexterity to use equipment: knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers, rotisseries.

$14.88 - $18.09 per hour. Pay determined by experience, skills, location; company reserves right to modify salary.
