Job Summary

Year‑Round, Part Time Sales Associate at L.L.Bean’s Lynnhaven Retail Store in Virginia Beach, VA. The role involves delivering world‑class customer service, engaging customers, maintaining the store environment, and supporting overall team operations.

• Engage customers by approaching and assisting multiple shoppers, providing personal and genuine service interactions.
• Drive sales by converting customer interactions into sales opportunities and building brand loyalty through exceptional service.
• Build relationships with customers and team members, working collaboratively and respectfully across diverse backgrounds.
• Advocate for customers by actively listening to their needs and solving problems efficiently at first contact.
• Leverage technology using POS, customer systems, and mobile devices to provide seamless, fast omni‑channel service.
• Promote L.L.Bean initiatives, including Outdoor Discovery School and the Mastercard program, to generate excitement.
• Maintain standards by ensuring the store is well‑organized, upholding visual and merchandising standards, and supporting store operations processes.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve results, create a positive work environment, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Contribute to health and safety by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Physical Demands: required to stand, walk during shift; talk or hear, both in person and by headset; occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps; repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift 1–20 pounds; occasionally move and lift objects up to 40 pounds (utilizing a team lift as needed).
