The Atlantic Park Surf Sales Coordinator is a relationship-driven sales professional skilled in crafting and selling elevated, premium, and unforgettable experiences. This role focuses on securing private surf lagoon rentals, corporate and group bookings, and experiential activations. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of sales experience, holds regional connections, and is eager to launch sales strategies, positioning Atlantic Park Surf into a leading destination in the surf, recreation, leisure, sports tourism and hospitality industries.
At the core, the Atlantic Park Surf Sales Coordinator understands what it takes to manage and execute comprehensive sales program.
- Manage and execute sales strategies and initiatives as implemented by leadership for Atlantic Park Surf:
North America’s first Wavegarden Cove surf lagoon serving as the centerpiece to a $350m mixed use development. - Sell and coordinate private surf sessions and lagoon buyouts including hourly, daily, and multi-day programs.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, BEOs, and handle end-to-end event execution.
- Coordinate private group rentals outside of surf lagoon experiences including corporate outings, charity events, galas, and fundraisers.
- Review and respond to all inbound leads received via online and phone inquiries.
- Generate new business through outreach, relationship-building, and event participation.
- Attend and present at trade shows, networking events, community meetings, tourism events, and brand activations as directed by the VP of Sales.
- Conduct site tours and pitch premium experiences to corporate, social, and leisure clients.
- Build and maintain CRM accuracy, lead pipelines, and revenue forecasting.
- Use benefit-oriented selling techniques to creatively upsell experiences for the benefit of both the guest and the property.
- Prepare sales updates and look-ahead summaries for management meetings; track monthly and quarterly sales and event performance including budget vs. actuals.
- Maintain effective CRM trace systems, client profiles, and essential sales records including VIPs, repeat guests, corporate partners, and brands.
- Stay current on competitive offerings, rate structures, and industry trends.
- Maintain vendor relationships to support event execution and departmental growth.
- At least 3 years’ experience selling action sport & surfing experiences, hospitality, lodging, experiential, and/or entertainment venues.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue and experience-based KPIs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is instrumental
- Proficiency in CRM, PMS, Microsoft Office, and hospitality event systems.
- Experience working with corporate groups, planners, and experience agencies.
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work hours outside of Monday-Friday, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and events.
- Salary range of $50,000-$60,000 commensurate with experience.
