The Ascendancy Group is seeking an experienced Counterintelligence (CI) professional to provide specialized support. The ideal candidate brings a strong law enforcement or intelligence community CI background and is adept at operating in dynamic, mission-focused environments. This role directly supports mission planning, operational execution, and the identification and mitigation of counterintelligence vulnerabilities across a spectrum of sensitive activities.
Security Requirement- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility and the willingness to submit to a CI Polygraph
- Conduct comprehensive Counterintelligence Vulnerability Assessments (CIVAs) in support of tactical sensitive activities.
- Provide mission planning and CI advisory support to operational teams and decision makers.
- Assist in the preparation, execution, and post-mission assessment of operations.
- Identify CI risks, threats, and indicators relevant to unit activities and provide actionable mitigation strategies.
- Develop and deliver CI guidance, awareness, and best‑practice recommendations to operational personnel.
- Coordinate with internal and external mission partners to ensure integrated intelligence and CI support.
- Produce clear, concise reporting and documentation to support ongoing and future operational requirements.
- Minimum 10yrs Prior U.S. Government agency Counterintelligence experience (LEA or IC).
- Demonstrated experience conducting CI investigations, operations, collections, or vulnerability assessments.
- Strong understanding of CI principles, threat awareness, and operational security.
- Experience supporting sensitive activities or operational units.
- Ability to operate independently in fast paced, ambiguous, and highly sensitive mission environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous support to SOF, specialized units, or sensitive activities programs.
- Experience integrating CI into mission planning and execution cycles.
- Familiarity with multi‑agency coordination and joint operational environments.
- Advanced CI or LE certifications.
