Maximal Security Services LLC is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Armed Security Officer to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

This position is ideal for an experienced security professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. The officer will be responsible for protecting the assigned property, enforcing site policies, conducting patrols, and responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

• Monday through Thursday
• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 32 hours per week

• $20.00 per hour

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the assigned property.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to deter criminal activity and identify safety hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Verify identification and control visitor access as required.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Enforce client policies, site‑specific post orders, and company procedures.
• Contact emergency services and company management when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, vendors, and the public.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company with integrity at all times.

• Active Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer Registration (Required)
• Current Virginia DCJS Firearms Endorsement (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Reliable transportation preferably personal car
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous armed or unarmed security experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required by the client or applicable law

• Experience in commercial, warehouse, industrial, residential, healthcare, or corporate security
• Strong observation, report‑writing, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies

• Active Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer Registration (Required)
• Current Virginia DCJS Firearms Endorsement (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
