Job Summary:

RK Chevrolet, a leading automotive dealership in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking a skilled and experienced Medium Duty Commercial Truck Technician to join our team on a full-time, commission plus bonuses basis. In this role, the candidate will work as an individual contributor, utilizing their expertise in the auto industry to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium duty commercial trucks. Medium Duty Commercial Truck Technician Compensation & Benefits:

Medium Duty Commercial Truck Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium duty commercial trucks
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Use diagnostic tools and procedures to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Communicate with service advisors to provide updates on repairs and timelines
• Keep a clean and organized work area
• Maintain knowledge of current automotive technology and repair techniques
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
• Complete all required training and certifications

Medium Duty Commercial Truck Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medium duty commercial truck technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Certification from an accredited automotive technician program is preferred
