Description
Individuals will be operating equipment on construction sites. They will be required to operate bulldozers, excavators, motor graders, & front end loaders for their grade crew. Individuals must be comfortable working outside the cab as well.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, and loaders to move earth, debris, and materials.
- Excavation & Grading:
Use equipment to dig, level, and grade land according to project specifications. - Site Preparation:
Clear land, remove obstacles, and ensure proper groundwork for construction. - Material Handling:
Load, transport, and distribute materials like dirt, gravel, and rock. - Equipment Maintenance:
Perform daily inspections, minor repairs, and routine maintenance to keep machinery in top condition.

AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operation
- 2-3+ years experience operating Excavators, Dozers and Front End Loaders
- Must be comfortable occasionally working outside the cab

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
