Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling Virginia Beach, VA

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
• Test installed cable using Fluke or similar certification testers
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable tray systems, cabinets, MDF/IDF setups, and related infrastructure
• Work safely from ladders and lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and system layouts
• Install and support access control, CCTV, audio/visual, and fiber optic systems

• 1+ years of commercial or industrial low voltage experience
• Hands‑on experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
• BICSI, OSHA, and lift certifications are a plus
• Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi‑vis vest, steel‑toe boots)
• Working knowledge of telecom and data network fundamentals
• Willingness to travel locally to job sites throughout the Virginia Beach area as needed
