We are looking for a Licensed Master Electrician with experience or interest in home technology integration. This position is critical to reducing outsourced electrical work, supporting smart home installations, and enabling future growth into whole-home electrical services. You’ll also play a role in the broader technology team, supporting efforts to scale the lighting division and streamline field operations. This is not just a "tools-on" role - this is an opportunity for someone with the technical chops and the professionalism to handle permit pulling and client interactions with ease.
Responsibilities:- Pull electrical permits in Virginia and serve as the company’s qualifying agent.
- Relocate or install outlets (e.g., behind TVs, for smart devices, trim-outs for Lutron panels, supporting whole-home electrical projects, and assist in lighting and shading system installations.
- Collaborate with leadership to create and refine operational procedures.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical work with AV/control systems.
- Participate in broader company initiatives to improve field efficiency and reduce subcontracting.
- Occasionally support builder relationships and assist with expanding lighting fixture sales.
- Active Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required).
- Willingness and ability to serve as qualifying agent and pull permits.
- Experience in or exposure to Lutron lighting/shading systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with low-voltage integration work is a plus.
- Comfortable with administrative aspects of permitting and compliance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude.
