• Assist in repair and overhaul of equipment, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation to meet customer needs efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Perform general repair on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment such as air‑conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice‑machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors safely and timely.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
• Process job tickets, work orders to the necessary department promptly.
• Train new or less qualified technicians as needed.
• Maintain proper truck inventory continuously and drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single systems and rack systems along with previous work on display cases and walk‑in boxes is very helpful.
• Good driving record and ability to work independently.
• Emergency on‑call availability is a basic requirement.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance and sit/stand for several hours at a time.
