Enhancements Crew Member
Essential to the installation team that delivers high‑quality jobs on time. Landscape Installation crew members provide services such as landscape installation, grading, hardscape installation, clearing, tree cutting, and pruning.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Operating equipment such as skid steer, excavator, backhoe, and other machinery.
- Performing specific landscape enhancement functions on the job site.
- Storing, transporting, mixing, and applying chemicals in accordance with the law.
- Following instructions and plans with the Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
- Assisting in loading and unloading equipment, tools, and supplies on truck.
- Performing all job‑related tasks safely and efficiently and using all tools and equipment in accordance with company safety policy.
- Assisting in keeping the job site, vehicles, trailers, warehouses, and offices safe, clean, and organized.
- Informing the supervisor of problem areas on site, equipment or supply issues, or any accident or loss.
- Complying with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, especially in the handling of equipment.
- Working to assure quality and timely completion of all tasks assigned.
- Participating in training programs as required.
- Performing other duties as required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Able to read architectural drawings.
- Able to safely work alone and display quality and thoroughness in work product.
- Able to follow plans as shown on a map of property.
- Dependable; consistently arrives to work on time, responds to management direction, and commits to the required hours for job completion that will vary based on weather/season.
- Organized, hardworking, safety conscious, punctual, leads by example, self‑motivated, honest, and customer service‑driven.
- Effectively communicates with others, with the ability to read and/or comprehend written and verbal instructions/information. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Accountable; demonstrates dependability in attendance and timeliness, and carefully follows directions and instructions provided.
- Solutions‑oriented with the ability to apply feedback to improve performance.
- 2+ years of experience in landscape enhancements.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Holds, at a minimum, a State Technician and/or Applicator license per local requirement.
- Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.
- Driver's License preferred, but not required.
