Facility Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a critical hands-on role responsible for keeping our commercial/industrial facility operating efficiently and safely. If you have strong technical expertise in HVAC, mechanical systems, and building maintenance, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning, heating (HVAC) systems
- Maintain and service air compressors and associated equipment
- Operate and maintain chilled water systems and variable frequency drive (VFD) pumps
- Inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and related fire protection equipment
- Service and monitor alarm systems (fire, security, and building automation)
- Conduct general grounds maintenance including lawn sprinkler systems, and exterior upkeep
- Perform building upkeep duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Assist with new equipment implementations including electrical/conduit, compressed air, and cooling water line installation
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and work orders
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and environmental requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, air compressors, chilled water plants, and VFD-controlled pumps
- Experience with fire sprinkler systems and alarm systems is a strong plus
- Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 3
Ph 480V, plumbing, and general building maintenance - Comfortable with the operation of boom and scissor lifts (certification a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform duties in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Availability for occasional after-hours emergency response
