Job Overview

We are seeking a hard‑working, innovative, detail‑oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full‑time Termite Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Virginia Beach,VA. The role reports to our office in Virginia Beach once per week and involves daily route work. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.50 an hour.

Key aspects of this position include driving a company vehicle (which can be taken home nightly), working outside your local area, and using the vehicle’s gas card and professional equipment.

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for customers, implementing the most efficient pest solution for each customer’s needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage

• No experience necessary; on‑the‑job training will be provided
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
• Clean driving record: no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two moving violations in the past four years
• Result of a drug test and background check performed on all new hires
• Will carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50lb and may work every other Saturday
