Acoustical Sheet metal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers. We offer sound-attenuated and weather-protective packaging for on-site power generation equipment, with products ranging from economical skin-tight enclosures to entire multi-unit power plants.

We work to reform and modernize the integration process in a multitude of ways. Our personnel include certified welders, licensed electricians, and machinists, as well as an engineering design team that works with production in an assembly line process immersed in the language and culture of quality control. What You'll Do

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the face of ASC at customer job sites. You'll work alongside experienced technicians and supervisors to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in the field.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• Communicate project updates, challenges, and job status with the team in real time.
• Document field activities, including photos, receipts, reports, and service notes.
• Properly maintain company-issued tools, equipment, PPE, and vehicles.
• Collaborate with Senior Technicians and Field Supervisors to complete complex projects.
• Represent ASC professionally while interacting with customers and site personnel.
• Travel extensively and stay overnight as required to support projects nationwide.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, industrial, construction, or technical service environments.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
• Experience performing field service, equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with job management software and mobile communication platforms.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
