Aerotek is hiring experienced Outside Machinists to work at Huntington Ingalls Shipyard in Newport News, VA.

3+ years of experience as an Outside Machinist

Experience working on U.S. Navy or commercial vessels

• Install and align pumps, motors, engines, and propulsion equipment
• Perform valve overhauls and hydrostatic testing
• Repair AC and refrigeration systems
• Operate lathes, boring bars, and milling/drilling equipment
• Install hydraulic systems, air compressors, and shipboard equipment
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper alignment and fit
• Support shafting, bearing work, and system testing

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
