The City of Virginia Beach Department of Public Utilities is hiring a Utility Mechanic I for the Sewer Collection team. The role will perform maintenance and repair of sanitary sewer lines, manholes, and mains with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliability.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. Availability for evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime is required; obtaining a Class A CDL within nine months is mandatory for career
