Heavy Equipment Operator - Per Diem

Trillium Construction is in need of a Heavy Equipment Operator / Excavator Operator for aWetland and floodplain restoration project in Virginia Beach, VA!

Operators will be helping to clear the shorelines and marshlands to reduce erosion, enhance habitat and strengthen the flood resilience along the river. The operator will also help with groundwork which will require heavy lifting of debris such as logs, old trees, and high grass, and will also help move in new erosion proof material to stabilize areas to prevent future erosion such as straw matting, silt fencing and flood barriers.

Heavy lifting involved. Bugs, ticks, spiders, and other insects are present on the site.

Project duration until the end of January 2027 Then be reassigned to another project. Pay rate is $33/hr per Diem, if not Local $120/day paid 7 Days if entire schedule worked each week. Travel $0.60/mile per Google Maps.

• -Previous experience operating an excavator
• -Will need to have an OSHA 10, if you don’t have, we can provide the course.
